Terms And Conditions

1. There is a $200 nonrefundable deposit for your preservation that is due at the time of booking to reserve your event date. Please note we do not hold spots without a deposit. The $200 will be deducted from your total invoice balance amount. If rescheduling needs to occur, the rescheduled event date must be decided upon within 30 days to hold the clients full reservation. If no date is chosen, the client will forfeit their entire deposit. The rescheduled event itself must take place within 1 year of the originally scheduled date.

2. The balance of your invoice is due 4 weeks after your event date and is shown on your invoice. As we work in chronological order of when we receive your blooms, if your final payment is not made on time then your order will slide down the queue. If final payment has not been made within 3 months of the original due date, your order will be cancelled with the deposit remaining nonrefundable. As the client, it is your responsibility to ensure your final payment is made on time as we do not send reminder emails for payments.

3. All orders exclude return postage charges. If you'd like your completed order to be posted to you, postage costs can be added to your invoice.

4. Drop off address and designated drop off scheduling including time slots will be provided 1 week prior to your reservation date. (drop off suburb is Doreen, VIC) Drop offs are by appointment only and are allocated a 15 minute window to drop off your blooms. If you are running early or late, please contact us to reschedule another time within that drop off time slot.

5. Whilst all reasonable care is taken when packaging your order, Tayla May Creations takes no responsibility of your package whilst in transit to you. Pick up of completed orders are preferred.

6. As these products are handmade, it is important to understand there will be imperfections such as, but not limited to; air bubbles, silica sand, small dust particles, transparency in petals, uneven edges and striation lines in your piece/s.

7. Although Tayla May Creations use a UV protected resin, it will still yellow over time. The best way to help minimize this is to keep your piece/s out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat.

8. Some flowers don’t dry in silica as well as other flowers and some do discolour. Red flowers tend to darken into a burgundy colour & white flowers can have tones of browns, yellow and pinks. Once flowers are dry they are technically dead and can change shape/colour. Lilies and Orchids are more prone to showing transparent spots once cast in resin as these are very delicate flowers. Please reach out if you'd like more assistance with how specific flowers will preserve.

9. Depending on the size of the pieces in your order, we cannot guarantee all flowers from your bouquet will be used. If we think your design may look better in a larger piece, we will send through photos and give you the option to upsize.

10. Any additional remaining flowers that weren't used in the preservation will be disposed of without prior notice to the client. We do not return any unused flowers, items or containers/vases.

11. Due to the demand and expertise of our work we cannot promise a completion date, however do provide an estimate of competition to be within 6-8 months. Orders including charcuterie boards can take up to the full 8 month time frame (sometimes even longer depending on your order). Please refrain from contacting TMC to ask when your order will be completed unless we have gone over this estimated 6 month time frame.

12. As this is a personal piece to each client and once cast in resin, cannot be undone. There will be no refunds.

13. Timber used in charcuterie boards will be chosen and designed by TMC based on species availability at the time of creating your piece. As timber is a natural product, it does come with its beautiful imperfections such as but not limited to: Gum veins, grub holes, saw marks and various colours and textures.

14. Due to the available thickness of timber and certain molds, all flowers used in charcuterie boards, trays, side tables and furniture pieces will be flattened during the drying process to fit in the selected piece.

15. TMC supply 1 design layout for bloom blocks and large scale furniture pieces only and do not offer redesigns. Due to the fragile nature of your flowers once dry, we try avoid touching the flowers as much as possible as they can fall apart. If you do want to make changes to your design, this is fine. We will note those changes down and apply them when we set your flowers in the mold. If we do not hear back after 48 hours of emailing your design, we will proceed without approval. We do not supply layouts for add on items, charcuterie boards & trays.

16. Some flowers are spray painted or dyed to achieve a different colour or look. If the supplier or florist hasn't used the correct type of paint then this may run in the resin. Some flowers can be identified easily as to whether they are dyed/painted and a small test piece can be done to work out if the colour will run or not. We will then contact you to find out if you'd like to include these flowers in your piece.
    
    
17. Once your order is complete and ready for collection, we will email you with available pick up days and time slots. As we do not have the capacity to store your order for a prolonged time frame, if your piece is not collected within 4 weeks of the original pick up email, your order will be cancelled with no refund being offered.
    
    
18. The pricing from when you paid your deposit will be locked in up until the day you drop off your blooms. If after your event, you decide you'd like to add additional items to your order, please note these items will be charged at current pricing. This is also not a guarantee that we can add items on to your order as we generally only dry enough flowers to cover what you ordered originally.
    
    
19. Add on items vary in size and thickness therefore we cannot always include full or 3D flowers. In this case we would flatten your blooms to fit or use greenery/petals.
