| How do I lock in my event date? | Fill in the enquiry form on our website. We will then respond with deposit information. Please allow 1-2 business days for a response |
| When do I give you my flowers? | Flowers must be received within 1-3 days after your event, preferably the day after your event. Your flowers will preserve however we receive them so it is best to get them to us while they are as fresh as possible. Drop off days are Saturdays, Mondays and some Sundays. |
| Where are you located? | Studio is located in Doreen, VIC. Pick up of orders from same location. |
| What is your wait time? | From when we receive your bouquet, please allow an estimation of 6-8 months for your order to be completed. Longer wait times may be applicable for orders including charcuterie boards, larger orders and through summer due to the limitations of being able to pour resin on the hotter humid days. |
| How does the payment structure work? | At Tayla May Creations we have a 2-part payment structure.
Please note that no resin will be poured unless the final payment is made. As we complete orders in chronological order of when we receive them, if your final payment is not made on time you will be shuffled down the list and may lose your place. |
| How do I get my flowers to you? | Feel free to bring your flowers yourself, alternatively you can have a friend or family member bring them for you. It is also becoming quite popular for brides to have there flowers delivered via Uber. |
| How are the flowers preserved for each piece? | Some flowers are preserved differently depending on the items you order. For bloom blocks and some add on items like ring holders, tea light holders and spheres we will |
| Is return shipping included in my order? | No, return shipping is not included in our pricing. If you would like to have your order shipped back to you rather than picking it up please let us know and we can include this charge on your invoice. We can not provide shipping costs until we know what you’d like to order. |
| Will the colour and shape remain the same in my flowers? | In most cases yes and in some cases no. Every flower will change slight in one way or another. It completely depends on the flower and also the condition we receive your flowers. Some colours such as reds tend to dry darker into a more burgundy colour. Most whites tend to dry with a brown, yellow or green tinge to them. Most flowers are pretty good at holding their shape. |
| My wedding has already passed, can I still have something made? | Absolutely! There are a couple of options. If you air dried your bouquet after your wedding then we can definitely use this to create something beautiful for you. We can also source fresh flowers to replicate your bouquet and dry them through our standard process to create something for you. |
| Will all the flowers from my bouquet be used? | This all depends on the pieces in your order. If you order a large bloom block then yes, most of your flowers will be used. We will pick out the best flowers from your bouquet to preserve plus some extra as we like a little bit of choice when creating your design. The remainder will be discarded. If you have a large order then we may request for you to provide an additional bridesmaid bouquet or centre piece arrangement as well. |
| Will I get to see a design of how my piece will look? | Absolutely! For all bloom blocks, we will send 2-3 design layouts for you to choose from. As most of the add on items are made upside down, we don't send a design for these, nor do we send design layouts for charcuterie boards. |
| My wedding is 1 year away and I still can't decide what I want? | That's totally fine. We are currently taking bookings for 2024. To secure your date, you can pay the $200 deposit now and give us a rough idea of what you’re thinking of ordering. (just so we have something to put on your invoice). You will then have up to 1 week prior to your event date to make any changes to your order. You will also be locking in the current pricing and avoid any price increases that may occur in the future. |
| Can you preserve things other than my flowers? | Sure can! We can also include other things in your pieces such as but not limited to; Jewellery, bouquet ribbon, hair pieces, rosary beads, photographs, invitations, charms & cake toppers. Pretty much anything that doesn’t hold moisture can be cast in resin. |
| How do I get an update on the status of my order? | Our wait time for completed orders is 6-8 months. We will provide updates along the way. The more time spent on responding to progress update requests, means less time spent on completing your order. |
